How do I get started?

Reach out and let us know you’re interested in Personal Training or Iron Group Sessions. Talk to any of the Fitness Consultants at the Reception desk. Online you can purchase passes or monthly memberships through our Mindbody page. Or visit the Contact page or send an email directly to info@getfitstudiova.com for more information or for help.

What if I haven’t worked out in years?

Anyone can benefit from training, regardless of age or current abilities. Our Elite Personal Trainers and Iron Coaches are skilled and patiently waiting to guide you on your fitness progression. For group sessions, considering starting with Iron Lite and work your way up.

How long until I can expect to see results?

This depends on the type of service you’ve selected, commitment level, personal goals and what you consider results. For personal training, your results should generally be quicker because of the one on one support, customized training and nutrition guidance. For muscle and strength gains you may notice strength gains before you feel a change in muscle size. Most will notice body composition changes and overall fitness improvements within four weeks of beginning a strength training program and training a minimum of 3 times a week.

What if I have existing injuries?

Injuries can be accommodated, just let our Fitness Consultants or Iron Coaches know beforehand. We would highly recommend the complimentary fitness assessment as your first step. During this session, your movements will be analyzed through a range of motions. Reaching your fitness goals injury-free is top priority.

What should I expect for my first session?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first session. We provide fresh towels and have a water fountain. Lifting gloves are optional, shoes are required. For Group Sessions, if you have an existing injury or need accommodations of any sort, please let your Iron Coach know prior to the start of the session.

Does the studio have showers?

Yes! We have 2 showers that are on a first come-first serve basis. We provide towels and all toiletries. We ask that shower usage be limited to 15 minutes.
